While I didn't get to play it before, I'm getting my chance now! Alicia Online is an MMO centered around racing horses against other players and using magical spells(walls of ice, fireballs, shadow cloaks, etc) to get the upper hand against other plays(so kinda like Mario Kart... but with horses). Officially, the game was shut down by its creators, NTree. Unofficially(?), its being resurrected by its fans who are decrypting, translating, and reprogramming the old game files to repurpose it for people to be able to play once again, only entirely for FREE now! At the moment, there's an offline beta called "Ranch Version" with two maps: the Ranch, and one winter racetrack. More features are on the way, thanks to Mlocale(the primary person behind bringing the MMO back). Its estimated it will take at LEAST 6 months to bring it back fully, maybe longer, but its been in the works trying to ressurect it since I believe the end of October?(3 months or so). There's not a lot to do on it yet, but its worth trying out at least, especially when it gets built back up a bit more. And its going to be completely free. You can't beat that, right?
